[vsnet-alert 10311] OT_J130030.3+115101 (Catalina): detection of superhumps

   Greg Bolt and Maehara-san have succeeded in observing OT_J130030.3+115101
(Catalina transient).  The data clearly show the presence of superhumps
with amplitude of ~0.3 mag.  The object is thus confirmed to be
a genuine SU UMa-type dwarf nova, as suggested in earlier postings.
The best period is 0.06452(3) d, though one-day aliases are not
completely excluded.  Further observations are strongly encouraged.
