This is a very red star evidently caught in bright stage
(plus probably unfiltered CCD sensitive to the far red).
It is GSC2.3 N2B4011389 = USNO-B1.0 1005-0448085 = IRAS 19098+1026 =
2MASS J19121346+1031293 = MSX6C G044.6546+00.2315 = NSVS 1912133+103129.
The last name indicates it is already a known variable; NSVS
reports a period of 389 days and an amplitude in the red of about 1.8
magnitudes---typical Mira-type variable.
The 2MASS position (19 12 13.47 +10 31 29.3 [J2000]) is some
1".6 from the Sherrod position, suggesting a problem with the
reported astrometry. Available good astrometry for the star includes:
19 12 13.47 +10 31 29.3 2MASS
19 12 13.48 +10 31 29.7 USNO-B1.0
19 12 13.47 +10 31 29.6 GSC-2.3
Better luck next time!
\Brian
