Dear all,
I have just sent a report attached below to the CBAT. Confirmation

Koichi Itagaki (Yamagata, Japan) reports his discovery of a variable
object on a survey CCD image taken with a 0.21-m f/3 reflector around
Aug. 7.7 UT. Confirmation images taken on Aug. 7.763 UT with a 0.60-m
f/5.7 reflector + CCD show the variable's magnitude to be about 14.1,
and the position is R.A. = 4h06m59.78s, Decl.= +0d52'44".3 (equinox
2000.0). It was fainter than mag 17.0 on his survey image taken on
2007 Oct. 13. Hiroshi Kaneda (Sapporo, Japan) points out that a X-ray
source 1RXS J040700.2+005247 is located within 7" from the reported
position, and the variable should be identical with a USNO-B1.0
cataloged star (B1mag = 18.41, R1mag = 17.47) whose position end
figures are 59s.82, 44".3. Hitoshi Yamaoka (Kyushu Univ.) added that
the NOMAD catalog shows that the object was caught in bright state in
YB6 catalog (USNO, unpublished, epoch unknown) at B = 14.320 and V =
14.350. These information suggest that the object is a dwarf nova
caught in outburst.
