Subject: re-brightening of V1647 Ori = McNeil's nabula

  Itagaki-san reported the brightening of V1647 Ori (= IRAS 05436-0007
= variable star which lights up the McNeil's nebula (IAUC 8284, 8396))
to mag about 16.7 (unfiltered CCD) on Aug. 26 (detail will be reported
later).  It was brightened to mag around 15-16 (including nebulosity,
unfiltered CCD) on 2004 Jan. 23, but faded to mag around 19 (Rc) on
2005 Oct. (J.A. Acosta-Pulido et al., 2007).  Confirmation and further
observation is urgently needed.
