[vsnet-alert 10500] Spectrum of possible nova in Sco

 M. Fujii (Okayama, Japan) obtained a low resolution spectrum of the 
object on Sep. 3. It shows Balmer series emission lines (FWHM of H alpha
line is 670km/s) and the strong NaD absorption with an equivalent width 
of ~10 angstrom which indicates the interstellar reddening.

The reddening is also apparent in multicolor photometry by S. Kiyota.
