[vsnet-alert 10555] Nova Aquilae 2008 = V1721 Aquilae

Dear colleagues,

IAU Circular No. 8989 (Daniel W. E. Green, Editor) reports that this nova
in Aquila, which was discovered by K. Itagaki (CBET 1512, AAVSO Alert Notice 387) has been 
assigned the permanent GCVS designation V1721 Aql (Nova Aquilae 2008) by E. Kazarovets.
