Ah, thanks a lot!  I believe identification of certain emission lines is "official" diagnostics of novae, but certainly large expansion velocities from Halpha emission profiles are strong circumstantial evidence, and it's great to see amateurs who are capable achieving this at last.  A resolution capability of ~150 and a measure of ~2500 sounds good and solid.
