Nope, in fact it's nearby CY Cha that's got a period of around 14h ish (two minima).
Reiterated just in case the cpm post didn't attract interest.
Only potential evidence going for CVness now is this filled in ugz/nl - esque thing you mentioned re their spectrum, if said is uniquely diagnostic for ugz/nl?
CVs with little or no evidence for 'em and calls for precious resources diverted to time series, etc. I dunno. Reflex action in the community it seems. One of these days when someone tells me they've got a candidate rrd or beat cepheid or nonCVlike outburster or what'ever and can't get any observer interest, I'll suggest to 'em to claim it's a CV and call for superhump obs. It'll only work once, but they'll be quids-in data wise.
