The admittedly sparse "epoch photometry" from the SDSS Stripe82 database hasn't managed to capture any previous outbursts from this object (y axis is r', x axis is MJD) :-

the roughly 0.3 to 0.4 mag quiescence scatter is about typical noise level for this magnitude in this data
