This twelfth mag HMXB O9.5 IVe object (suspected variability designation NSV 18753) is likely to show low amplitude variations if any at all in the optical, and the ASAS3 system is not ideally suited for it, nor of sufficient temporal coverage for it :-

thus it might reward some optical time series photometry following the xray outburst, and then again it might not.

Makes a change from the usual driv though.

The optical object discovery paper suggests ~ 0.1 mag colour variations in B-V whilst no variation in, so a tricky one.

Of course, that wasn't during a known xray active phase.
