You see, the blue and white flycatcher, ie ooruri, Cyanoptila
cyanomelana, isn't just Cyanoptila cyanomelana, but is in formal
scholarly/academic terms full name Cyanoptila cyanomelana (Temminck,
1829), ie it carries the source bibliography with it [where Cyanoptila
cyanomelana should be in italics each time]. It ain't optical flying
transient renamed.

(Unless, of course, whilst none of us have been looking, the "boil 'em
up" DNA-DNA guys have successfully merged the Cyanoptila with some other
Genus and it ended up being renamed that way, but that's a consequence
of direct taxonomic results, related to scientific examination of the
inherent biology, not just a renaming for convenience or personal
preference).
