According to BAA VSS alert, the SU UMa-type dwarf nova V1454 Cyg is
undergoing an outburst (likely a superoutburst).
During the 2006 superoutburst, superhumps with a likely period of
0.06101(2) d were detected (cf. arXiv:0905.1757). Since the coverage of
the 2006 supeoutburst was rather insufficient, we encourage continued
observations during the current outburst to precisely determine the
superhump period and its variation.
