VX For: second (third?) rebrightening and superhumps
As reported by Rod Stubbings, the object has undergone another
rebrightening. The interval of the rebrightening was 4 d, and the
quiescent state between rebrightening was short. These parameters
indicate that the rebrightenings in this system is between those
of WZ Sge (2001) and EG Cnc. SDSS J080434.20+510349.2 in 2006
had similar outburst parameters with extreme (eleven) number of
rebrightenings. We have also received time-resolved photometry from
Berto Monard, and the Hermitage Observatory team (Arto Oksanen and
Eric Southgate). The Hermitage team recorded the rising branch of
the new rebrightening. The updated period of the late-stage superhumps
is 0.06143(4) d. Please keep your close eye on this object with
potentially long-lasting rebrightening phase.
