TT Ari large-amplitude oscillations
We have received numerous observations from Maehara-san, Kiyota-san,
the Hermitage Observatory team (Arto Oksanen and Eric Southgate),
Bart Staels, Arto Oksanen, Javier Ruiz, Javier Temprano.
The rapid deline has now stopped, and the object stays around mag 15.
Most notable is the presence of large-amplitude undulations (amplitude
exceeding 1 mag) with a period much longer than the orbital/superhump
period. The period determined from the observation is 0.73 d.
The phenomenon is reminiscent of dwarf-nova like short-period oscillations
observed in intermediate state of V425 Cas (PASJ 53, 1185).
Further observations are highly desired to clarify the nature
of this variation.
