TT Ari: large-amplitude modulations with a period of 0.375 d
We have received a large number of data from Maehara-san, Kiyota-san,
Hermitage observatory team, Itoh-san, Bart Staels, Arto Oksanen,
Javier Temprano, Javier Ruiz, and Enrique de Miguel Agustino.
The data still persistently show large-amplitude oscillations,
with a stable period of 0.3750(4) d. The presence of such a stable
period seemingly unrelated to the orbital or superhump periods is
surprising. The ratio P/Porb appears similar to unusual long-period
variations seen in FS Aur (0.14270 d, 0.0595 d) -- the well-known puzzle
on its origin still unresolved.
