[vsnet-alert 11778] BV Pup fading

[Taichi Kato]

   According to Rod Stubbings, BV Pup is unusually faint.  This fading
was preceded by a standstill.  The current phenomenon may be analogous
to the fading episode seen in RX And in 1996 (standstill followed by
a deep fading).  Further observations are encouraged.
