Imamura-san, Fujii-san and Maehara-san have succeeded in obtaining
spectra. The object is indeed undergoing a nova outburst!
The overall feature of the spectra suggests an Fe II-class classical
nova eruption (but in a symbiotic environment). The evolution
appears to be slightly slower than in RS Oph.
(It might be worth making a comparison with V3890 Sgr, another
"symbiotic" recurrent nova).
Imamura-san's spectrum (Okayama U. of Sci.) :

Balmer, He I 5878, 6678, 7065, O I 7774, Mg II 7890 and Fe II lines
are in emission.
Imamura-san also reported photometric observations:
13.859(UT) B = 9.55
13.855(UT) V = 8.76
Fujii-san's spectrum:

FWHM of Halpha = 1600 km/s
