FO And: superhump period

Enrique de Miguel has reported the observations. The mean superhump
period based on this single-night observation is 0.0744(1) d.
Despite that the object has been well-known, the evolution of superhumps
has not been well investigated. Being located at a favorable place,
further observations to determine Pdot are encouraged.

(de Miguel's comment):
===

Run confirming the superoutburst of this object,
suggested yesterday in vsnet-alert 12277. From the
evolution of the brightness of this object in the
last days (vsnet-alert 12277), the superoutburst must
have been triggered some time after Oct 15, so it
may have started just 24-48 hours ago.

Clear and neatly formed superhumps with peak-to-peak
modulation of ~0.25-0.30 Cmags. This run covers ~5.5 cycles
              and includes 6 maxima.

              Using ANOVA, P_sh = 0.0745(12) d.

A linear regression to the times of maxima:

               HJD(max)=2455487.3416(10) + 0.07431(35) E

a value to be compared with 0.074554(52) quoted in
Kato et al (Survey I, 2009 PASJ paper).
