SDSS J080434.20+510349.2: still fading

   According to Enrique de Miguel:

I've just been able to measure the following
mean values after capturing some frames

JD (at mid point) = 2455495.56383
V-Comp = 5.31(5)
V-Check = 4.01(5)
Comp-Check = -1.296(3)

so the target is ~0.25 mags fainter than yesterday.
It may have gone all the way down to quiescence,
but I'll keep an eye over the next days in case
it shows another echo outburst.

According to his data (nightly averages),

  20101022.132 2.916 0.018 220 deM
  20101024.144 4.887 0.016 111 deM
  20101025.141 5.158 0.010 126 deM
  20101026.064 5.310 -- 1 deM

The rate of the fading has not much increased. It may be simply that
the interval between the rebrightenings has increased.
Otherwise, it is the important moment for large telescopes!
(As is well known, this object displays strong modulations in quiescence,
and we expect to see persistent superhumps at this stage)
