[vsnet-alert 12784] OT J044216.0-002334: an into-the period gap CV?

Dear Colleagues,

I performed another run on this faint, SU UMa-class CV,
remotely using the photometric telescope part of the Virtual
Telescope Project. Joining both the datasets I collected so
far, I can estimate a PSh of 2.17 +/- 0.02 hours. This seems
to place this star  into the 2h<Porb<3h period gap, at least
on its lower limit.

Data were sent to Kyoto for analysis.

Further photometry is strongly requested. The source was at
about mag 17.
