   According to AAVSO observations (and Kiyota-san's preliminary report),
T Pyx experienced a rise in brightness between 28.0 and 29.0 UT.
The spectroscopic evolution is likely to be associated with the rise in
brightness.  There is even a hint of larger short-term (within a fer hours)
variations.
