http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/1988ATsir1534...17P

  * The GCVS period was not confirmed.
  * The object is at mag ~18 on POSS and blue.
  * A mean periodicity of 67.7067 d was derived
  * In addition to the main period, short outbursts were irregularly
    observed.
  * The object possibly varies 2 mag/d.
  * Short segments (several days) of faint state between outbursts were
    recorded.
  * The author suggests type ISA, excluding the Cepheid classification.

   NY Her appears to be a very interesting object to make intensive
observation. The suggested two periods may suggest super- and normal
outbursts (then it might even be an ER UMa-type object!).
