[vsnet-alert 13700] Possible exploding star observed on 25 September 2011 at 0305hrs EST (0805hrs GST)

On 25 September 2011 at approximately 03:05 EST (08:05 GST), I have possibly spotted an exploding star, while I happen to look towards the vicinity of Orion.
Already ruled out a tumbling satellite, since it was static in space from my viewing point.
