Observations of DDE 22 in Camelopardalis (see vsnet-alert 13629,
13635) during the night of Sep. 28/29 with a 40-cm telescope of Ka-Dar
observatory's TAU station (remotely by Vladimir Gerke) show the large
variations (over 1 mag in 1 hour) near the minimum light. Twenty seven
120-sec exposures were taken between 20:36 UT and 21:56 UT. Light
curve from the images combined by 3 (nine points, 360 sec effective
exposure time) is available here:

Since the first outburst on Sep. 02 reported in vsnet-alerts above,
the star was again observed in outburst on Sep. 21.01 UT (16.3m). I
have uploaded a screenshot of the light curve from AAVSO LCG here:

Judging from the light curves, this star is likely an eclipsing
cataclysmic variable of UGZ subtype with rather long orbital period
(perhaps 4-6 hours). Observations at different longitudes are
encouraged.
