Hi Josch,

"as there seem to be no sequence of the AAVSO available"

There has been an AAVSO sequence available since last night, shortly
after Arne confirmed the possible nova.

Go to the AAVSO Chart Plotter http://www.aavso.org/vsp, and enter PNV
J13410800-5815470 as the name for the star.

Choose an F or E scale and the chart orientation you prefer. You will
see a few nearby comp stars labeled, which means they have magnitude
and color information available.

On the result page there is a link "Photometry Table for this Chart"
that will take you to the sequence information.

Or you can skip the chart altogether and just get the sequence
information by selecting Photometry table under DO YOU WANT A CHART OR
A LIST OF FIELD PHOTOMETRY? The table will give you all the comp stars
that would fall on a chart the scale you have asked for.

Regards,
Mike
