According to ATEL #4112, SBS 1108+574 is found to be a hydrogen-rich
CV (resembling EI Psc).

We have detected a possible signal from orbital variations
at 0.038449(2) d (using the entire data). If this is the true
orbital period, the fractional superhump excess is 1.7 %.
The value is smaller than in EI Psc (3.9 %). This might suggest
that the secondary in SBS 1108+574 is not so massive as in EI Psc,
and the difference in the properties, such as a very blue color
and the long duration of the superoutburst, might be explained
by the difference in the nature of the secondary. SBS 1108+574
might be more closely related to ordinary hydrogen-rich dwarf novae
than EI Psc-class objects.
