XSS J12270-4859 has faded to magnitude 18.2 as observed on 2012 Dec 21.092 UT. Observations of this CV (going back to Feb 2007) at the Klein Karoo and Bronberg Observatories showed it to evolve between 15.5 and 17.1. The most recent observation gave 16.4 on 2012 Nov 13.097. All magnitudes are unfiltered CCD. Regards, Berto Monard
