Dear All,

HST observed CU Vel this morning, all went well, and
we got a very beautiful spectrum of the white dwarf. I
have to admit that I was nervous about this target, as
a proper superoutburst would have been bad news...
Thanks for the fantastic monitoring you provided, this
did really help STScI planning the observations (and me
finding some sleep last night)!

But, with every successful observation, the next one is
already queued: SDSS0407-0644, also known as LT Eri,
an eclipsing U Gem-type dwarf nova that seems to go
into outburst very, very frequently. There is a good
amount of data in the AAVSO archive, it seems not
to get any brighter than V~15, so should not be a
problem for HST, but please keep on monitoring this
star from now until the HST observations, scheduled
for

Jan 24, 2013 03:55:46 to Jan 24, 2013 06:29:15

Best wishes,

Boris
