     Bear in mind that these "spectral types" were derived from 
SED fits and _not_ from actual spectra, and are commonly grossly
in error.  This particular one seems to be a correct inference for
an unreddened star --- but it is not obvious that this is an
ordinary M-giant.

     But it is in the IRAS faint-source and AKARI catalogues as
a good 12-micron source.  The IRAS 'faint-source' survey is
in fact the definitive reduction of the IRAS survey outside
the galactic plane, so it is the preferred version of
this catalogue.

     Be careful interpreting catalogue data!
