Dear all,

we have pre-discovery images of MASTER OT J212444.87+321738.3 (ATel #4888)
from the New Milky Way camera ( 135mm lens with unfiltered ST8300M CCD,
details in http://arxiv.org/abs/1303.3268 ). The object was clearly
detected on 2011 October 31, November 1, 3, and 4 at V=13.0, it was
not detected on images obtained in 2012 January-April.

This previous detection confirms that MASTER OT J212444.87+321738.3 is
likely a previously unknown red variable star (Mira, SR, or L type).

With best wishes,
Kirill
