Dear All,

thanks so much for your help with GW Lib - the HST observations
went well, and we got a fantastic spectrum of the white dwarf in
this CV. GW Lib is also one of the few CVs that contain pulsating
white dwarfs, and the new HST data will tell us how the 2007
outburst affected the envelope of the white dwarf where the
pulsations originate.

The target for next week is V1108 Her, previously known as
Var 04 Her. Another WZ Sge type dwarf nova, that was seen
in outburst in 2004.

V1108 Her: Jun 6, 2013 09:32:19 to 13:42:14

This CV has a nearby (1") visual companion, a low-mass cool
M-dwarf. The CV is the north-east component, but it is unlikely
that you will be able to resolve the two stars.

Therefore, please report the combined V-band magnitude
to the AAVSO, we will correct for the brightness of the
companion when communicating the observations to STScI.

Best wishes,

Boris
