Dear All,

just a quick update from a sizzling hot (35C) Berlin: the
HST observations of OT J213806.6+261957 went
well. We got a textbook spectrum
of the white dwarf in this new, and nearby WZ Sge
star.

The next observation will only be in September, so let
me thank you once more for all the support you provided
over these last months for the 38(!) targets done so far!

All but one HST observations were successful, and this
reflects the superb, intense, and accurate monitoring
you provided time and time again. The only target we lost,
SDSS1544+2553, was a poorly studied oddball with erratic
brightness variations that were just too much of an unknown
to risk the safety of the COS detectors.

I wish you a beautiful summer, with plenty of clear
nights.

Best wishes,

Boris
