[vsnet-alert 16188] V2289 Cyg outburst

Dear colleagues,

We detected that a dwarf nova V2289 Cyg, an UG type with a range of
15.7-<19.0 mag(V), in outburst at around 16 mag on Aug. 12.60(UT) from 
Youichirou Nakashima's survey images with Canon 500-mm f/4.5 camera
lens + SBIG ST-8 in the course of the MISAO Project.

V2289 Cyg was not visible at all, fainter than 17 mag, on our past
survey images in 2012 (Apr. 7, May 29, June 10, June 28, July 18, July
30 and Aug. 19).
