New optical transient in Canis Minor with the large amplitude
(15.1-<21.5m) was found by Pavel Balanutsa in MASTER-Amur images of
Oct. 17. It was just published in Astronomer's Telegram ATel #5486,
see http://www.astronomerstelegram.org/?read=5486

There is a faint star SDSS J074940.52+071558.8 (u=25.75, g=24.94,
r=23.45, i=21.53, z=20.84) 1.9" from the OT. It is not clear if it is
related to the transient. See

for the interactive SDSS color finder chart.
