ASASSN-14ag: possible eclipsing SU UMa-type dwarf nova in superoutburst

ASASSN-14ag ---- ------- 8:13:18.45 -1:3:27.7 2014-03-14.25 13.5 SDSS DSS VIZIER ------- CV candidate, small amplitude (~2 mag) outburst, previous outbursts seen in CRTS data

   The CRTS data show apparent eclipses. A search for
the period yielded the following candidate ephemeris:

Min = BJD 2454413.99166(5) + 0.060310652(3) E

   Phase plot in quiescence:

   Since only five observations were available around
the eclipses, there remain other possibilities.
The SDSS colors (two SDSS measurements) suggest a short
orbital period (P <= 0.06 using the neural network).

   All the pieces of evidence suggest that this object
is an eclipsing (nearby) SU UMa-type dwarf nova with a short
orbital period currently in superoutburst.
Time-resolved observations are strongly encouraged.
