After a ~4-hr time series on SDSS J120231.01+450349.1 from May 28.876 UT through May 29.040, this object shows well-developed superhumps with peak-to-peak amplitude of 0.30 mag, mean magnitude V = 13.78, and period P_sh = 0.06018(8) d.
This object was found in outburst by ASAS-SN at V=13.88 on 2014 May 27.3 UT. The outburst must be in its very early stage, considering the negative detection by ASAS-SN on May 25. As reported by P. Schmeer on vsnet-alert-17341, a previous outburst was observed on 2007 March 21.15 UT.
Considering the absence of early superhumps and the large amplitude of the superhump modulation in this early stage of the outburst, this short-period CV is most likely of the SU UMa subclass.
SDSS magnitudes in quiescence are g=19.946(14) and r=19.899(18) according to SDSS-DR9.
