Dear colleagues,
We discovered a possible new cataclysmic variable from Youichirou
Nakashima's survey images with 300-mm f/2.8 camera lens + SBIG
ST-8(ABG) in the course of the MISAO Project.
The star is at R.A. 23h29m55s.11, Decl. +44o56'15".7 (2000). It was
around 15.3 mag on Sept. 13.73 (UT). Nothing found in Nakashima's past
images on Nov. 11 and Dec. 1 in 2013.
Nothing is found on DSS or 2MASS images at this position. The Minor
Planet Checker says no known minor planets, brighter than V = 20.0,
were found in the 15.0-arcminute region around the position.
Best regards,
