[vsnet-alert 17950] ASASSN-14jv and ASASSN-jq

ASASSN-14jv 
Observations at CBA Huelva show this transient (ATel #6676) at mean magnitude 11.50CV over a 2.6-h run. The light curve shows a double-humped pattern, probably associated with early superhumps. A tentative period of the modulation is 0.054 d, but futher data are required. As suggested in vsnet-alert 17949, this is likely a new WZ Sge star. 


ASASSN-14jq
This large-amplitude transient is at mean magnitude 14.65CV and is displaying superhumps with full amplitude ~0.15 mag and a period of 0.0555(3) d.
