Dear colleagues,

This evening (2015, Jan 21), I obtained unfiltered CCD photometry
observations of MASTER OT J015746.16+511023.2 = ASASSN-15aw at CBA Belgium
Observatory, using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera,
under excellent skies. The resulting light curve - covering a period of 6.0
hours - clearly shows the presence of superhumps, hence establishing this
target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The sumperhump amplitude is approx
0.10 mag. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods
(Peranso), yields a period of 0.062 +/- 0.001 d. The object is presently at
unfiltered mag 16.2.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis. It is
evident that additional observations are needed to more accurately
establish the superhump period.

Best regards
Tonny
