ASASSN-14mv: possible orbital period and mass ratio
Itoh-san, William Stein, Josch Hambsch, Osaka Kyoiku U.
team, Tonny Vanmunster, Enrique de Miguel, Pavol A. Dubovsky,
Ian Miller, Raul Michel, Crimean Astrophys. Obs. team,
Michael Richmond, Roger Pirckard and Lew Cook reported
observations of this object.
The object apparently showed the orbital signal
after the rapid fading from the main superoutburst.
The best period is 0.028139(1) d.
Using this period and the period of stage A superhumps,
we have obtained a mass ratio of 0.08.
This value may be larger than what is expected
for an AM CVn-type object with this period.
Further observations are strongly encouraged
since the object is expected to show further
rebrightenings and the orbital signal may be
more securely detectable in the later stage.
