Dear colleagues,

This evening (2015, Feb 24/25), I obtained unfiltered CCD photometry
observations of the newly discovered object ASASSN-15dq at CBA Belgium
Observatory, using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera.
Skies cleared out late in the evening, reducing the resulting light curve to
a time span of 2.5 hours only. Nevertheless, it clearly shows the presence
of superhumps, hence establishing this target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf
nova. The sumperhump amplitude is approx 0.5 mag. A period analysis using
the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a period of 0.080
+/- 0.002 d.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis. It is
evident that additional observations are needed to more accurately
establish the superhump period.

Best regards
Tonny
