[vsnet-alert 18483] ASASSN-15fp, a new short period CV

Observations at CBA Kleinkaroo on 21 and 22 March 2015 show strong modulations in
the light curve of ASASSN-15fp.

An initial 'transition' period of 0.0613d was derived using the Peranso software
(Cleanest) on 21 March. Mean magnitude was 13.8R.

A more regular period of 0.0643d was derived for the night 22-23 March. The mean
amplitude was 0.2 mag in range, with a mean brightness of 14.0R.

Further observations are intended.
