Dear colleagues,

Based on 3 nights (2015 Apr 5/6, 6/7, 7/8) of unfiltered CCD photometry
observations of the newly discovered object ASASSN-15gf, the combined light
curve shows the very likely presence of superhumps, hence establishing this
target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. Observations were made at CBA
Belgium Observatory, using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD
camera. The sumperhump amplitude is approx 0.16 mag. A period analysis using
the ANOVA and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a period of 0.077 +/- 0.002 d.
Over the course of the 3 nights, the object faded from (unfiltered) mag 15.9
to 16.2.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis. It is
evident that additional multi-longitude observations are needed to more
accurately establish the superhump period, especially because of the rather
unfavourable location of the object in the evening sky.

Best regards
Tonny
