Dear colleagues,

This morning (2015, Apr 15/16), I obtained unfiltered CCD photometry
observations of ASASSN-15hd, a new bright ASASSN discovery. Observations
were made at CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and
STT-3200ME CCD camera, under very clear skies. The resulting light curve
covers a time span of 3.9 hours and clearly shows the presence of
large-amplitude superhumps, hence establishing this target as a new SU
UMa-type dwarf nova. The sumperhump amplitude is approx 0.3 mag. A period
analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a
period of 0.055 +/- 0.001d only.

Further observations are evidently encouraged.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Best regards
Tonny
