The mira variable V782 ARA  (17 09 15  -52 41 02) is listed in the GCVS  as 
having a range of 16.5-(17.5
however, i have photographed it at magnitude 11.0 on july 8.57UT using a 
canonT70
and a 200 2.8fd lens,film used is ilford 400 HP5.
The ASAS catalog list no object at this position.
