[vsnet-alert 18854] V1006 Cyg: finally established SU UMa-type in the period gap

V1006 Cyg: finally established SU UMa-type in the period gap

   Crimean Astrophys. Obs. team (A. Sosnovskij and E. Pavlenko)
detected a well-developed superhump (0.3 mag) on July 17.
Maeda-san also reported observations prior to Pickard.
Using these observations, the superhump period is
around 0.104(2) d.  However, this value should be
treated with caution since we have probably observed
stage A-B transition and there was a gap in the observation.
More observations are needed to refine the period.
