V1006 Cyg: fading stopped, long superhump period

   Crimean Astrophys. Obs. team (Alisa Shchurova,
relayed by Elena Pavlenko) and Lew Cook have reported
new observations.  The object apparently stopped fading
and still show strong superhumps.  The current
superhump period is similar to the one during
the superoutburst plateau.  The behavior up to now
is quite unexpected and exceptional.  The object
may repeat rebrightenings and further intensive
observations are requested (current magnitude is 15-16).
