Dear colleagues,

I’m currently (2015, Oct 02/03) doing unfiltered CCD photometry of CSS J221822.9+344511. An intermediate analysis of the observations, made at CBA Belgium Observatory using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera under very clear skies, clearly reveals the presence of superhumps, establishing this target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The amplitude is approx 0.3 mag. A preliminary period analysis using the ANOVA method (Peranso), yields a period of 0.069 +/- 0.002d.

A more refined period analysis will be made upon completing the current observing session.

Further observations are evidently encouraged.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Best regards
Tonny
