[vsnet-alert 19511] MASTER OT J131320.24+692649.1: new SU UMa-type dwarf nova

Dear colleagues,
 
Tonight (2016, Feb 16/17), I have started unfiltered CCD photometry of
MASTER OT J131320.24+692649.1 at CBA Belgium Observatory,  using a 0.35-m
f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera, under clear skies. The resulting
light curve clearly shows the presence of superhumps. This establishes this
target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The amplitude is approx 0.15 mag. A
perliminary period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods
(Peranso), yields a combined period of 0.0714 +/- 0.0008d. Observations are
still ongoing and will after completion of the campaign be sent to CBA and
VSNET for further analysis.
