[vsnet-alert 19516] MASTER OT J185838.73+460207.2: new SU UMa type dwarf nova

Dear colleagues,
 
Next to my observations of MASTER OT J185838.73+460207.2 during the night of
Feb 15/16, 2016 (see Taichi's comment below on possible superhumps in my
data), I had another clear night on Feb 16/17. I used my CBA Belgium 0.35-m
f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera. The resulting light curve is of
better quality than previous night, with a presence of superhumps,
establishing this target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The object is
becoming faint (mag 16.2), and the superhump amplitude is approx 0.12 mag. A
preliminary period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods
(Peranso), yields a combined period of 0.063 +/- 0.002d. 

I expected that within a few nights, to object will become too faint for
decent CCD photometry, so anybody having a chance to still observe MASTER OT
J185838.73+460207.2 right now, is highly encouraged to do so.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
